Before starting any trial
Check its current payment, cancellation and data-access terms yourself. This site does not start trials or connect accounts. Define the question, representative settlement, reviewer, allowed actions and end date. If you cannot allocate review time or obtain required access, postpone the trial rather than letting a billing deadline make the decision.
Specify the acceptance criteria
Can the exact channel and accounting edition connect? Is the required history available? Can one representative settlement be explained without duplicates? Does the reviewer understand mapping and any separate cost output? Include a clear export and exit requirement.
Keep observation separate from expectation
Record what actually happened, what was merely documented and what remains untested. A sample without refunds or month-end complexity cannot prove those cases work. Do not invent a performance percentage from a single successful import. Avoid changing live financial records without the account owner’s approved test process.
Close the trial deliberately
At the end, choose adopt, investigate a specific gap, or stop. Preserve needed records and confirm any cancellation or continuation under the provider’s actual terms. A connector that passes technical setup may still be unnecessary for a low-volume workflow. Our manual-or-automate guide turns the observations into a business decision without assuming that more software is better.
